Letting us carry the traffic for the regular crawl of your recipical links clears up bandwidth for you, which translates into lower hosting fees. Finally, by hosting the database for you, you can utalize the full power our server to power up the Swapware for you (e.g. The tool, "Power Directory Builder" of Swapware will only work in our specially configured server). This is the most important reason why Swapware is more powerful than any other link management software available.
Yes, we intend to host the database for all our existing users free for life. However, in the unlikly even that we will no longer provide this service to you, we will notify you and provide you with all the source code and detailed instruction on how to set your own Swapware database.

Q: How often do your robots spider the web for reciprocal links?
R: The spider is set up to automatically update the status once a week.

Q: When your spider finds that a reciprocal link that is down, as I understand it, that particular site's link on my page is automatically changed to "down" and the next time the pages are updated, does it gets deleted?
R: No, the link will not be deleted when the link is down; only the status of the database record is changed to "down".

Q: I own a webhosting company, I was wondering whether it would be okay for me to bundle Swapware in my webhosting package? What I mean is, I host the application on my domain for them, but they would be registering with you individually.
R: Yes, you may do this as long as you do not claim Swapware as your own and follow the Swapware copyright notice.

Q: I want outside sources to be able to add a link without providing a reciprocal link. How do I do this?
R: You can modify the file submit_website.php to accomplish this.

Q: How do I make change to my categories.
R:
=> Login to your Swapware account by going to http://www.yourdomain.com/Swapware_folder/login.php enter your email and password to login.
=> Click "Admin Profile" on the top of the page.
=> Click on the "Modify Admin Info" button.
=> Make change to your categories and click the "Modify" button.
=> Finally, click the the "Home" button to go back to the Admin Home Area; Then click the "update files" button.
Your categories are now modified.
